Do it. Quitting is a noble option practiced by those with wisdom and integrity. Do not fight endless fights. Do not force pointless grinds. Quitting is often the only way off the battlefield in an unwinnable war. Just give up; sink into the forward movement of life and rest a while.
Life will carry you forward without your effort. You can pick up where you left off tomorrow, or the next day, or the next day... It is true there are punishments for quitting; there are punishments for enduring, too. You get to choose which ones you face. But if you’re going to be punished by a system of oppression regardless, I’d suggested you at least be well-rested.
