The universe is always hiring.

Unfortunately, you’re (most likely) in an abusive, codependent relationship with your current employer, Oppression.

Oppression doesn’t pay what you’re worth. Oppression doesn’t treat you with dignity. Oppression will drop your ass the second they can profit off of you.

But you’re scared to leave.

You don’t know what life would be like without your demeaning, controlling boss. Maybe because your demeaning, controlling boss tells you that your life won’t be sh*t without them. They tell you you have no skills, no value, and no one else will want you.

Your abusive boss is a liar.

You believe them because you’ve been employed by Oppression since you were around 4 years old, the age when we internalize the abusive lies of systemic oppression. The age that we internalize the rules and value-judgements for us and others, based on social identities. We are too young to know better and too young to fight back effectively, so we are onboarded into our job of Conformity Specialist.

Wouldn’t it be nice to quit?

Wouldn’t it be freeing to say “fuck it?”

Wouldn’t it be a relief to stop (over)working?

Life is hiring new team members to do Life’s sacred work of evolving, balancing, protecting, and appreciating Aliveness! Everyone is eligible for employment with full benefits.

You just have to be brave enough to accept the job.

Your work will be to do whatever your heart feels most called to do. The job you’ve always known was yours, even when the colonized people told you it was silly, stupid, or not needed. You already know this is the job you came here to do.

Amusingly, the hardest part of being employed by Life, is being liberated.

Not fighting for liberation. Or demanding liberation. Or longing for liberation. Just being liberated. Doing the job Life, your benevolent boss, tasked you with. The hard work is being liberated enough to stick with your Liberation boss when your Oppression boss tries to scare you into shifting your allegiance.

Every time you side with your old, Oppression boss, you leave the shelter of your Liberation boss, who is protecting you. It’s not safe to get off the roller coaster in the middle of the ride just because you are afraid. Stay in Liberation where it’s safe, even when it’s scary.

This is your reminder that Life wants to employ you to do the work you were created to do.

Life will support you, nourish you, affirm you, and honor you for your contribution to the beautiful authenticity of Life.

Accept the job.

Leave the fears behind.

Scream and cry if you must, but say YES.

This is your birthright.

This is the only job that fits you.

This is the only workplace worthy of you.

Welcome to your real job.
